Alchemy PotionsThe Phoenix Empire is about to take on a whole new dynamic to the battle system with a brand new experimental Alchemy tab in the Tavern.

Players can drink potions and elixers that will aid them in battle and will last for a set period of time.

The new Alchemy system will be available in the Tavern this Thursday evening Pacific time.

New Ingredients and Loots

The new Alchemy feature introduces new loots that will be required in order to perform the alchemist ritual. These new ingredients include different gems as well as the introduction of refreshing water as a loot. These loots will be available from monsters, quests, NPCs, and certain rare ones during events and other special occasions in the Phoenix Empire.

How Alchemy Works in the Phoenix Empire

The Phoenix Emperor’s scholars have discovered that there are certain recipes from the ancient alchemists which when combined on an Alchemist’s Table create various potions. These potions can be consumed from the lounge and will generally last one hour after consumption. The timer will be visible from the profile tab.

Drinking Multiple Potions

The new alchemy potions are a bit experimental, so you must allow your army to drink them with caution. Ingesting another potion of the same type will reset the potion effect timer and overwrite any existing potion. For example, a green “light evade” potion can overwrite a “superior evade” potion if the light is consumed after the superior. This will allow players to have more control over the level of special abilities in use.

Alchemy Levels

There are different levels of potions and elixers available, each with varying effects. To unlock a potion’s power, you need only find the right ingredients and mix them on the Alchemist’s Table within the Tavern. The typical Alchemy recipe requires three ingredients, with higher level recipes requiring higher level ingredients.

Limitations of Potions

It is only possible to drink one of each type of potion at a time, which means that the effects do not stack on top of the other. This means that you cannot consume a light and superior evade potion and have a combined evade power — one will overwrite the other. Players will be able to consume one of each type of potion

The potions can be bought and sold by players in the Tavern marketplace. Players can review the potions in their inventory as loots.
